LCSW, 4 years of experience
New to Grow
As a clinical social worker with over seven years of experience in the social service field, I am committed to meeting each person where they are. My approach balances an understanding of internal experiences with the recognition of external stressors and environmental influences. At the heart of my work is connection—I prioritize creating a safe, trusting relationship where healing can take place. I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, from pre-teens to older adults, supporting them as they navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other challenges.
In our first session, the main goal is to get to know you. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your background, and what you’d like to work on. You don’t have to have everything figured out—this is simply a chance for me to understand your story and for us to see if we’re a good fit to work together. We’ll also talk about what therapy might look like, including things like confidentiality, session structure, and any goals you may have. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and safe. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to, and you’re always in control of the pace. Think of this first meeting as a starting point for building trust and beginning the process of healing and growth.
I take a relational approach to therapy, meaning that I place the therapeutic relationship at the center of our work together. I believe that healing happens within the context of trust, safety, and authentic connection. My goal is to create an environment where you feel truly seen and understood—one in which you can bring your full self without fear of judgment. When you feel supported in this way, it becomes possible to engage in the deeper, sometimes difficult, but ultimately transformative work that therapy invites. I strive to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and respect, helping you build the confidence and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges.
My ideal clients are adolescents and adults who are navigating the healing process after trauma. With extensive experience working with PTSD, I am passionate about providing compassionate, trauma-informed care that centers safety, trust, and personal agency. In addition to trauma work, I also enjoy supporting adults through life transitions and stage-of-life challenges, helping them find clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of self along the way.
My approach is grounded in the belief that every person has an innate capacity for growth and healing. In our work together, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you are truly heard and understood. I trust that you are the expert in your own life, and I am here to walk alongside you—supporting your process of self-discovery, helping you connect more deeply with your authentic self, and empowering you to create the changes you desire. Together, we’ll focus on cultivating self-acceptance, resilience, and a stronger sense of inner peace.
I offer Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for adults who are working through the effects of trauma. This approach combines proven cognitive-behavioral strategies with a compassionate, supportive space to process painful experiences safely. Together, we focus on reducing the intensity of trauma memories, building healthier coping tools, and restoring a sense of safety and control. The goal is not only to lessen trauma symptoms, but also to help you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater resilience and self-compassion.
I provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals who struggle with intense emotions, relationship difficulties, or impulsive behaviors. DBT combines acceptance and change—helping you honor your experiences while also learning practical skills to create the life you want. Together, we’ll work on building mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness so that you can feel more balanced, connected, and in control.
My approach is eclectic, which means I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods to meet your unique needs. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor our work together based on what will be most helpful for you—whether that’s exploring past experiences, learning practical coping skills, or focusing on the here and now. This flexibility allows us to create a therapy experience that feels personal, supportive, and effective for your growth and healing.
I practice from a trauma-informed perspective, which means I recognize the impact that past experiences can have on your present well-being. In our work together, I prioritize safety, trust, and choice—meeting you with compassion and respect. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel empowered to move at your own pace, build resilience, and reconnect with your sense of strength and possibility.
