I'm a licensed therapist in Texas with over 11 years of experience, specializing in helping women of color navigate life transitions, anxiety, and personal growth. I work with clients facing various life challenges, including stressors related to career, family dynamics, and personal life. Through a holistic approach that integrates therapeutic practices, spirituality, mindfulness techniques, and goal setting, I empower clients to overcome limiting beliefs, reframe negative thought patterns, and connect with their inner strengths, often leading to significant improvements in stress management and decision-making within a few weeks.
In our first session, we'll begin with introductions and a detailed intake to explore the challenges you're facing and what brought you to therapy. If time allows, we'll also do a self-care assessment to help guide our future sessions. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan with clear goals for the next six months, ensuring that our work aligns with your needs and aspirations for growth.
As a first-generation Mexican American who has broken my own generational cycles, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by women of color. With years of experience working with clients, I’ve developed an approach that helps you (a) identify the root causes of the struggles that may be holding you back, and (b) create a personalized plan to guide you toward meaningful, lasting change. My journey and expertise allow me to provide compassionate, culturally attuned support that empowers you to break through barriers and thrive.
I love working with women of color who are ready to make transformative changes and break generational cycles that have held them back. My dream clients are motivated to live their best lives but may feel uncertain about where to start or how to fully step into their power. They are eager to heal, grow, and manifest their deepest desires, embracing both personal and spiritual growth to create lasting change.

Being trauma-informed means I’m always holding space for what you’ve been through, with care, not pressure. I make it a priority to create a safe, supportive environment where you don’t have to share anything before you’re ready. I understand that trauma can show up in all kinds of ways—in your thoughts, body, emotions, relationships—and I work with that in mind every step of the way. My approach is all about building trust, honoring your pace, and giving you choice in how we move through the process. Whether we’re talking, using grounding tools, or just sitting in silence together, the goal is to help you feel more in control of your healing. I’m always mindful of triggers and never push—healing happens when you feel safe, seen, and empowered.
I use Trauma-informed care in my practice, where I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment for clients who have experienced trauma. I use this approach to ensure that all interventions are sensitive to the impact of trauma on the mind and body, recognizing its influence on behavior and emotions. By focusing on empowerment, trust, and client choice, I help clients feel in control of their healing journey. This method also involves being mindful of potential triggers and working at a pace that feels comfortable for the individual. Trauma-informed care is essential in reducing retraumatization and fostering resilience and recovery.
Supportive therapy is an approach I frequently use to provide clients with emotional encouragement and validation during their healing journey. It focuses on strengthening the client’s coping mechanisms by offering reassurance, active listening, and empathetic understanding. In my practice, I create a non-judgmental space where clients feel safe expressing their feelings and challenges. This approach helps build trust and promotes self-esteem, allowing clients to face difficult situations with greater confidence. Supportive therapy is particularly effective in helping clients manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions.
In my work, I use a mind-body approach to help you reconnect with yourself, not just in your head, but in your whole being. So often, we push through stress, anxiety, or burnout without realizing how much it’s affecting us physically and emotionally. In sessions, I’ll guide you through simple practices like breathwork, grounding, mindfulness, and body check-ins to help calm your nervous system and release what you’ve been carrying. This kind of work is especially helpful if you’re constantly on the go, doing all the things for everyone else, and feel like you’ve lost touch with your own needs. We’ll slow things down, tune into what your body is telling you, and help you feel more grounded, clear, and in control again. I also offer spiritual tools like energy work or guided visualizations for those who are open to a more holistic vibe. You don’t have to keep powering through. Let’s get you back to feeling like you again.
I use a strength-based approach because I believe you're not broken, you already have so many inner resources, even if they feel buried under stress, pressure, or self-doubt. In our work together, we’ll focus on what’s right with you, not just what’s wrong. I’ll help you recognize your strengths, your resilience, and the ways you’ve already gotten through hard things. This approach is especially powerful for high-achieving women who are used to being strong for everyone else but may struggle to give themselves that same credit or compassion. We’ll work on shifting the inner narrative from “I’m not doing enough” to “I’ve already done so much, and I’m allowed to grow from here.” Together, we’ll build on your existing strengths, clarify your values, and create space for you to thrive, not just survive.
