My clients leave our sessions energized and hopeful. I provide a warm environment for open- communication. I love "treating in truth" with no judgment. I am solution driven and thoroughly enjoy incorporating my clients in setting realistic goals and offer many approaches to achieve them. In the first session, it is my goal to offer a friendly environment to build rapport and trust.
My greatest strength is the ability to inspire hope. My approach is to meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan to include medication with counseling and behavioral therapy options. My goal is to empower clients and provide a non-judgmental environment to reach their long-term goals. I am a very passionate individual and this is contagious with my patients feeling my sincerity and .
I love all clients. I especially would love the opportunity to work with adults who feel hopeless in their pursuit for mental health wellness.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients identify and challenge negative thoughts related to patterns, beliefs, and behaviors. These negative thoughts contribute to their problems and teaching them to replace these with healthier coping mechanisms and perspectives promotes development of new skills in their daily life. This is achieved through collaborative work with the client and provider. Problems are identified, then through cognitive restructuring, the client learns to recognize and challenge their distorted thinking patterns and replace them with more realistic interpretations. The goal is to teach the client to take control of their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
