I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a doctor in Counseling and Counselor Education/Supervision. I work with clients in English and Spanish to join them in the healing process of making sense of the different life experiences and developmental transitions that represent challenge, growth, pain, and resilience. I believe people have the inner potential to heal, learn, grow, and solve their issues through genuine connection and collaboration with others.
Clients can expect to experience a sense of understanding of their own internal worlds as well as identify cognitive and emotional strategies to handle their issues.
My biggest areas of experience are the complex issues that adults face within developmental transitions, women who become or desire to become mothers, young adults figuring out career plans and adults experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and tension in their relationships.
