I am a strength based therapist who seeks to normalize mental health to underserved and marginalized individuals and communities with the goal of creating a safe space to heal and grow. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief and loss and are seeking support and ways to manage their symptoms. I understand that the client is the expert of their own life and I am here to support them in achieving their goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will gather demographic and historical information as well as assess current symptoms or issues which will help guide the establishment of treatment goals and therapeutic interventions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a unique ability to connect with most people and create an environment that feels safe and comfortable. I also can be direct in a way that doesn’t feel judgmental but also pushes my clients towards positive change and growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with all people with an emphasis on underserved and underrepresented communities such as communities of color and the LGBTQ community.
