New to Grow
Therapy itself is really a story—a journey of understanding, growth, and change. As a Latina therapist, I understand how culture, family, and life experiences can shape who we are—sometimes in beautiful ways, and sometimes in ways that feel heavy or overwhelming. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions, or who simply feel stuck and want something to change. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and real. I’ll meet you where you are, without judgment. In our sessions, you can expect a space where you can be yourself fully—whether that means talking things through, processing emotions, or even laughing a little along the way. I use approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy, but most importantly, I focus on what actually works for you. I especially connect with clients who may feel pressure to “have it all together,” who are used to being strong for everyone else, or who are trying to balance different parts of their identity. Together, we’ll work on setting boundaries, understanding your patterns, and helping you feel more grounded and confident in your life.
During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and exploring what you hope to achieve through therapy. We will discuss your background, current challenges, strengths, and goals while creating a safe and supportive space for you to share your experiences. Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and supports your growth and well-being.
I bring a compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. With extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults, I create a safe and collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT skills, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions, while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. I focus on helping clients build self-awareness, resilience, and practical tools to navigate challenges and create lasting change.
My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking support with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. I work well with clients who are open to self-exploration and developing practical coping skills to create meaningful change. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, school-related challenges, identity development, and major life transitions through a compassionate, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach.
