I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 8 years of experience in the mental health field. My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their treatment journey. I work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, stress, and life transitions. My practice focuses on evidence-based care, medication management when appropriate, and helping clients better understand their symptoms and treatment options.

Together, we will develop a treatment plan that supports your overall well-being and helps you move toward greater stability, balance, and quality of life.

I believe mental health care should be personalized to each individual’s needs, goals, and values. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that supports your overall well-being and helps you move toward greater stability, balance, and quality of life.

First session

In our first session, we will take time to get to know you and understand your concerns, symptoms, history, and treatment goals. I will ask questions about your mental health, medical history, current medications, and daily functioning to create a clear picture of your needs. Together, we will discuss treatment options, including medication management and supportive strategies, and develop a personalized plan to help you move toward improved well-being.

Strengths

My greatest strengths are providing compassionate, patient-centered care and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I take a collaborative approach, using evidence-based treatment, medication management, and CBT-informed strategies to help clients better understand their symptoms, build coping skills, and work toward lasting stability and improved well-being.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who is seeking support for challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood changes, stress, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD, sleep concerns, or difficulty coping with life transitions. I am best positioned to serve clients who are ready to better understand their symptoms, explore treatment options, and take active steps toward improving their mental health and daily functioning. I work well with individuals who want a compassionate, nonjudgmental provider who will listen, collaborate, and create a treatment plan that fits their unique needs. Whether a client is new to mental health care or has been in treatment before, my goal is to help them feel heard, supported, and empowered. In my practice, I focus on evidence-based care, including medication management when appropriate, supportive therapy, and CBT-informed strategies to help clients recognize unhealthy thought patterns, build coping skills, and improve emotional balance. My goal is to help clients achieve greater stability, confidence, and overall well-being.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In practice, I support clients in identifying negative thought patterns, building healthier coping skills, and developing practical strategies to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health concerns. CBT is often used alongside medication management when appropriate to support lasting improvement and overall well-being.
