Welcome! I am Patricia Rocha. I am a licensed psychotherapist who uses a client-centered, strength-based approach to help people work through psychological difficulties. I combine talk-therapy with experiential activities to promote self-expression and explore areas in people’s lives that need their time and attention. I have been providing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, & families for 19 years. I am from Argentina and speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Counseling can foster personal development and help build the life you are striving for. Let me know if you think I could help.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The purpose of the first session is to help you and the therapist get to know each and to help you decide if you think the relationship will be a good fit. The therapist may ask you what is bringing you to therapy, current symptoms, and other questions about your personal history, childhood experiences, current living situation, prior diagnoses, prior experiences with counseling, and your level of satisfaction of the relationships in your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I can provide psychotherapy services in 3 languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese. I have a genuine care and concern for clients and always strive to build trust and rapport with clients. It is important that clients feel heard and understood. I have awareness and respect cultural differences and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds.

My treatment methods

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a type of treatment, which is grounded in the understanding that family dynamics significantly impact each member's mental health and functioning. This approach of therapy can help family members build stronger relationships, improve communication, and manage conflicts within the family system.

Couples Counseling

Couples therapy help people in romantic relationships work through challenges. This type of therapy can help relationships on the brink of collapse, but it’s usually more effective before a crisis hits. It can help couples address relationship challenges before they become overwhelming or seem too difficult to fix.
