(he/him)
I am an independently licensed mental health therapist with a Masters degree from Arizona State University. I have over a decade of experience helping adults explore and cope with anxiety and depression while bringing expertise in communication styles and skills to promote healthy relationships. In addition, I will promote self-care and help explore healthy personal and professional boundaries, if needed.
Starting therapy can be overwhelming and nerve-racking. Our first session together will give us an opportunity to build rapport, give you a platform to discuss your therapeutic goals, and give me a chance to get to know you better. It will be an easy-going conversation in a supportive, accepting environment.
As a child and young adult, I was always interested in human behavior. As I continued my education, I began applying what I learned in my interactions with others. I found that I was naturally good at active listening in a non-judgemental way. I also found that I had much in common with others trying to find different ways to live happier and healthier lives.
When working with an individual, my goal is to assist them with prioritizing themselves. I will help you achieve your goals by offering insight and perspective, suggesting tools to improve communication and self-care, and providing support to overcome that negative voice in your head.

I provide feedback/skills to help people to understand how their thoughts affect their feelings, which then correlates with their behaviors. Changing the way you think about things, will change the way you feel about them, which then changes behaviors.
