I was born and raised in beautiful Washington State. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I have a Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University. Prior to stepping out into private practice, I worked in hospice and palliative care where I assisted patients and families struggling with depression, anxiety, and grief and loss. My style of therapy is warm and humanistic.
I strive to provide all my clients with a safe, secure, and non-judgmental place to explore stuck areas and instill confidence in clients through empowering them to make positive changes and find balance between their personal, professional, and family lives. I believe our therapy together is a collaborative process, and I am respectful of each person’s challenges, strengths, and goals. Together, through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I support my clients in finding coping skills, improving communication, and addressing underlying issues.
I bring almost 10 years of experience with helping clients. I believe therapy is not about a diagnosis. It’s for people who want more out of life and who are ready to move beyond the past to truly understand their value and worth. I take great pride in helping individuals overcome difficult life circumstances and manage anxiety, depression and issues related to low self-confidence.
I enjoy working with individual adults struggling with anxiety, stress, decision-making, low self-confidence, life transitions, and depression.
I support my clients through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) where I assist clients in identifying behaviors that contribute to mental health problems. CBT is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, and that by changing one, we can affect the others. I specialize in supporting adults facing anxiety, depression, and for anyone who wants to increase their confidence.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a type of therapy that helps you focus on what you want to change in your life—and what’s already working—rather than spending a lot of time talking about problems from the past.
