I believe healing happens through both grit and grace — the courage to look honestly at what’s not working and the compassion to change without shame. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in trauma, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns, with a strong focus on emotional regulation and safety. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and paced to you. I draw from trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to help clients better understand their coping patterns, reduce reactivity, and build sustainable change. Therapy with me is not about forcing outcomes — it’s about creating safety, insight, and choice. **Any clients with Aetna or Cigna may seek treatment with me on another platform** To schedule consultations or to outreach please see my website: https://gritxgracetherapy.com/
Our first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll take time to explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to get out of the experience, and what goals feel most important to you right now. I view therapy as a collaborative process, so I’ll invite your feedback and encourage open conversation about what feels helpful — and what doesn’t. It’s completely okay if I’m not the right fit after our first meeting; finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where we can start building trust and understanding at your pace.
I bring a combination of empathy, insight, and authenticity to my work, which helps me connect with clients quickly and build a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. I’m often told that my ability to build rapport is a strength, and I take pride in creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I can be straightforward when needed, while also approaching conversations with gentleness and compassion. This balance allows me to support clients in exploring difficult topics, challenging unhelpful patterns, and moving toward meaningful change in a way that feels safe and collaborative.
I work best with adults navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges, particularly those who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, or self-destructive patterns. Many of my clients have a history of trauma, complicated family dynamics, or experiences that have shaped deeply rooted beliefs such as “I’m not good enough” or “I have to do this on my own.” My ideal client is insightful and self-aware, but may struggle with overthinking, self-doubt, or difficulty trusting themselves. They may find themselves seeking external validation in relationships, feeling overwhelmed by their emotions, or repeating patterns they don’t fully understand. My clients don’t need to have everything figured out—but they do need a willingness to show up, be honest, and engage in the process. Together, we focus on building insight, emotional regulation, self-trust, and lasting change.
I’m a firm believer that our thoughts have a powerful influence on how we feel and behave. In my work, I help clients openly explore and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to distress, self-doubt, or negative emotions. I integrate compassion and mindfulness into this process, helping individuals recognize their humanity, practice self-kindness, and reframe their thoughts in a way that supports healing and growth. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with awareness and understanding.
I often use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in making meaningful changes at their own pace. I believe every person is the expert of their own life, and my role is to serve as a copilot on their self-care journey while they remain in the driver’s seat. Through empathy, curiosity, and collaboration, I help clients explore their own motivations, strengthen their confidence, and move toward the goals that feel most authentic and achievable to them.
My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, meaning I prioritize creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I recognize that each person’s experiences shape how they see themselves and the world, and I approach this with compassion and sensitivity. I focus on building trust, fostering collaboration, and promoting self-awareness so clients can regain a sense of control and feel confident in their ability to heal. My goal is to meet each client where they are, honoring their pace and their story.

I've been working with Camille for 7 months and she has helped me tremendously. I'm not always the best at communicating what I'm thinking or getting my point across. Despite this, she does such a great job of understanding me, communicating, clarifying ideas, & helping me find solutions. She is very open, honest, & supportive. She is knowledgeable and helpful with many topics and knows how to focus things, - finding ways to help when I get stuck or don't know what to say. I highly recommend her
