Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here. As your therapist, I bring over 15 years of experience in the social work field, with a deep commitment to supporting you in making sense of what feels complex or stuck, while identifying and working through the deeper dynamics influencing your experiences. I believe that lasting change begins with insight, but is sustained through intentional, empowered action and rest. My role is to provide not only support, but also meaningful education, perspective, and practical tools that you can carry with you beyond our sessions. Together, we will build on your strengths, deepen your self-awareness, and create a clear path forward. You already have the capacity for growth and change—my goal is to help you access it, trust it, and use it to move toward the life you truly want. This is where you begin to move out of survival mode—where your breath softens, your body settles, and a genuine sense of relief becomes possible. From that place, you reconnect with a deeper sense of authority within yourself—not as pressure or force, but as a calm, grounded confidence you can trust and carry into your life. In our initial session, we’ll begin with a thoughtful introduction and take time to explore the concerns that have brought you here. I approach this first meeting with care and intention, creating space for you to share your experiences in a way that feels comfortable and supported. This conversation allows me to gain a deeper understanding of your unique needs, goals, and strengths. From there, I will begin to thoughtfully develop a personalized, strategic approach to guide our work together—one that is tailored specifically to you and designed to support meaningful, lasting progress.
As your therapist, my focus is on helping you understand the deeper patterns shaping your experience. I approach our work with both insight, knowledge and intention—offering guidance, education, and steady support along the way. My goal is to provide the space to breathe and empower you with the clarity, tools, and confidence needed to make meaningful changes, so you can move forward with greater ease, purpose, and alignment with the life you envision.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I am a licensed clinical social worker/therapist who utilizes an integrative, evidence-based approach to treatment, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. My work incorporates mindfulness-based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. I emphasize the development of present-moment awareness and emotional regulation through mindfulness, helping clients build insight and reduce reactivity. Using CBT and DBT-informed strategies, I support clients in identifying and restructuring unhelpful thought patterns, while strengthening skills in distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. ACT principles guide my work in helping clients increase psychological flexibility, align with personal values, and reduce experiential avoidance. In addition, I integrate Solution-Focused techniques to promote goal-oriented change by identifying strengths and building on existing resources, while Interpersonal Therapy informs my focus on relationship patterns, communication, and social functioning. My therapeutic style is collaborative, structured, and strengths-based. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to develop practical skills, increase self-awareness, and make meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives.
