(she/her)
Hey! I am a board-certified Psychiatric nurse practitioner and a graduate of Walden University, with over four years in psychiatry and thirty years in nursing. I am an experienced case manager with a wealth of experience in navigating community resources to help manage patients' concerns. I have worked in various nursing disciplines, including medical-surgical, inpatient psychiatric and forensic nursing, public health, inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN, and inpatient trauma care. I currently work with the United States Army as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I work with adolescent, adults, and military soldiers struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, and post-traumatic stress disorder to become a better version of themself. The patient and I work together to create goals that will help manage their mental health. I am originally from Lagos, Nigeria. I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling, listening to music, sewing, and cooking. I am blessed with three amazing young adults.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I am compassionate and love to solve problems. My case management experience helps me to navigate and seeks ways of solving medical and social problems that affect my clients. I like flexibility, and I work with patients' work schedules or school.
