New to Grow
Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. As a trilingual therapist (fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanglish 😊), I know firsthand how much our backgrounds shape who we are. My own life experiences help me meet you with deep empathy, genuine curiosity, and an open mind, especially if you are navigating identity, belonging, or the immigrant experience. For over 18 years, I’ve walked alongside kids, teens, and adults facing all kinds of heavy stuff. Whether you are dealing with low self-esteem, family or relationship drama, grief, trauma, anxiety, or depression, please know you don't have to carry it alone. I truly believe real healing only happens when you feel completely seen, understood, and accepted just as you are. That’s why I work hard to create a warm, safe space where you can just be yourself. People describe my style as welcoming, collaborative, and a bit playful. Why playful? Because growth can be heavy, and sometimes a little bit of lightness is exactly what helps us heal. Together, we’ll look at what’s holding you back, focus on what you're already doing right, and get you closer to the peace, clarity, and life you actually want. What drew me to this profession is deeply personal. Years ago, I faced my own life challenges and found myself sitting in the client's chair, searching for answers. Going through my own therapy and experiencing its tremendous, life-changing benefits firsthand is exactly what made me fall in love with this field. It showed me how powerful it is to have someone truly walk alongside you, and it inspired me to become that support system for others.
Leaving your very first session, my ultimate hope is that you step back out into the world feeling a genuine sense of relief. I want you to leave feeling completely seen, heard, and accepted for exactly who you are, without any fear of judgment.
What makes my approach unique is the natural, easy exchange we’ll share. Therapy with me won’t feel like a stiff, one-sided interview; instead, it’s a collaborative conversation grounded in a deeply rooted empathy that allows you to feel completely safe. I bring a signature blend of warmth and playfulness to our sessions because processing heavy things shouldn't mean we can't share a lighter moment. We will laugh, we will do the hard work, and we will do it all at a pace that feels right for you.
While I specialize in helping people from all walks of life, a huge part of my practice is dedicated to a few specific areas. I have deep experience working with first-generation immigrants and children of immigrant parents who are trying to balance multiple worlds, figure out where they belong, and handle the unique pressures of acculturation. I also love helping clients navigate tricky relationship dynamics—whether that means untangling family drama, building healthier romantic partnerships, or figuring out the rules and anxiety of today's dating world. Additionally, I work closely with young adults who find themselves at a crossroads, trying to figure out who they are while surviving major educational, school, or career transitions
We’ll use ACT to help you stop fighting your difficult thoughts and feelings, learning instead to accept them with compassion so they lose their power over you while we focus on building a life aligned with what you truly value.
Through a person-centered approach, I provide a warm, judgment-free space where you are the true expert of your own life, allowing you to grow at your own pace while feeling completely accepted for who you are.
We may use a psychodynamic approach to gently look at your past and family history, uncovering the hidden patterns and unconscious roots that are secretly driving your choices today so you can finally break free from them.
Through a culturally responsive lens, I celebrate everything that makes you you, honoring how your unique identity, background, and cultural roots shape your world so you never have to leave any part of yourself at the door.
to gently unpack the automatic thoughts and patterns that are keeping you stuck, shifting them into healthier, more manageable habits that bring you instant relief.
