LCSW, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
My name is Walfsty Pierre, and I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. I am a fully licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Wisconsin, with over 15 years of experience working with children and families in the social services field. I specialize in trauma-informed care and have a deep understanding of how trauma affects individuals and families, particularly in marginalized communities, where systemic barriers can make the healing process more complex.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing can begin.
My practice is collaborative and client-centered, incorporating strengths-based approaches and evidence-based practices. My ultimate goal is to create a safe and supportive space where every client feels heard, respected, and empowered on their journey toward healing.
My ideal clients are teens, families, and young adults who may come from backgrounds marked by trauma, mental health challenges, or family difficulties.
I integrate attachment theory and Polyvagal theory to help clients navigate their recovery by fostering safety and rebuilding connections. I use trauma-sensitive, strength-based, and person-centered approaches, including Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness, to support clients through their healing journey.
