Hi, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 11 yrs of experience working in mental health. I have experience working with various populations and believe in helping to heal the whole person, by focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. I would love to be a part of your journey of managing stress, anxiety, depression, and/or processing trauma. My specialties are depression, anxiety, and trauma. I've been trained in Trauma Resiliency Model and Community Resiliency Model which focus on the body’s response to trauma by using a set of 9 skills (6 wellness skills in the CRM model). These models allow for the body to complete a response and allowing for pleasant sensations to be experienced again.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My clients enjoy being able to take this journey at their speed and always leave therapy feeling better than they did when they arrived. I understand that it takes time to build rapport and I always appreciate it when clients allow me to walk besides them in their journey to healing. Seeking help is a difficult thing to do and if you are reading this, then you just took the first step to achieving your goal. Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked with clients who want to manage their anxiety, depression, and work through past traumas. I enjoy building rapport by getting to know my clients before jumping in to the heavier topics. There’s something beautiful when rapport is built and trust/safety is created as sometimes this professional relationship may be the first one a client feels is the healthiest relationship they’ve experienced.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I am a firm believer that clients need to be met where they are; therefore, I use an eclectic approach to do this. This allows me to see where we go in therapy and be flexible to the clients needs.

Mind-body approach

I also enjoy using a mind-body approach as a holistic therapist. There is something special when we view clients as a whole person and helping them make a connection with their mind and body. This helps clients heal from body and mind.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution focus is a great way to work on solutions to specific problems. This model is used for clients who are more focused on finding resolutions to challenges in their life.
