New to Grow
I'm a licensed clinical social worker passionate about helping people feel more grounded, connected, and hopeful — even when life feels overwhelming. I am trained in EMDR and my approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I work with individuals and couples who want to understand themselves more deeply, heal from difficult experiences, and build skills that last long after therapy ends. Whether you're facing anxiety, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, you don't have to navigate it alone.
In our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I'll invite you to share your story, and together we'll clarify what you hope to gain from our work.
I strive to always be warm, genuine, and deeply present. I also bring gentle guidance and honest reflection when needed, helping you gain insight while feeling supported every step of the way. My tone is compassionate and encouraging, a balance of understanding and empowerment. Each session is catered to each individual client.
My ideal clients are individuals and couples who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. You might find yourself overthinking, struggling with anxiety or self-doubt, repeating patterns you want to change, carrying the weight of past experiences, or having difficulty feeling secure and connected in your relationships. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You may simply know that something isn’t working anymore and that you’re ready for things to feel different. My clients are often looking to better understand themselves, heal from experiences that continue to affect them, strengthen their relationships, and develop healthier ways of navigating emotions and life’s challenges. Whether your goal is to feel more confident, experience less anxiety, improve your relationships, process the past, or simply feel more like yourself again, therapy can be a space to begin that process.
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process painful or distressing experiences that may still be affecting how they feel, think, or respond today. Sometimes we understand logically that something is in the past, yet our emotions and bodies continue to react as though the experience is still happening. EMDR provides a structured way to work through these experiences and the beliefs connected to them. We begin by building coping and grounding skills so you feel prepared before moving into deeper processing. During EMDR, we may use guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation while gently working with memories, emotions, thoughts, and body sensations. The goal is not to erase or forget what happened, but to help the experience feel less emotionally overwhelming and allow healthier, more adaptive beliefs to emerge. I tailor the pace of EMDR to each client, and we regularly check in to make sure the process feels manageable and supportive.
I use Imago Relationship Therapy to help couples better understand the deeper emotions, needs, and experiences that can influence the way they communicate and connect with one another. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we work together to understand the patterns that keep you feeling unheard, disconnected, defensive, or stuck in the same conflicts. A key part of this approach is learning a structured, mindful way of communicating that helps each partner feel heard and understood. Couples practice slowing down conversations, listening without immediately reacting, validating one another’s experiences, and expressing needs more clearly. Over time, the goal is to move from reacting to one another toward understanding one another. I use Imago to help couples strengthen emotional safety, communicate more effectively, repair past hurts, and create a relationship that feels more connected, supportive, and intentional.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Often, the way we interpret situations can influence how we feel and how we respond, especially when we are experiencing anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or stress. Together, we identify patterns of thinking that may be keeping you stuck and explore whether those thoughts are helpful, accurate, or shaped by past experiences. Rather than simply trying to “think positively,” we work toward developing more balanced and realistic perspectives while building practical skills for managing difficult emotions and situations. CBT can also involve practicing new behaviors, developing healthier coping strategies, setting achievable goals, and applying what we discuss in therapy to everyday life. My approach is collaborative and personalized, with the goal of helping you better understand yourself and feel more confident navigating challenges both during and beyond therapy.
