New to Grow
When I think about the journey I have taken in life, it started in middle school. I was the friend in the group whom everyone came to for encouragement and inspiration, so no one was surprised when I first started teaching; I declared to my community, "I am going back to school AGAIN, and this time to pursue a degree in becoming a counselor." My passion as a therapist is to be that "encouraging cheerleader for others" whenever people find themselves hopeless.
In our first session, we will begin the process of building the client-therapist relationship and explore introductions to your counseling journey.
When I think about my journey in life, one thing that symbolizes my walk is a bridge. I believe in bridging individual unique qualities to assist in guiding others through problems and conflict, which in essence, allows a person to continue growing despite setbacks and flaws.
My mission is to assist my clients in recognizing and realizing that, despite the hardships in life, they have a purpose and a destiny worth seeking. With my experience and expertise in dealing with crisis, anxiety, stress management, and relationship conflict—both peer and family—our sessions will focus on equipping you with the necessary tools to live a healthy life and feel empowered.
