Ingrid Telasco-Maurisseau
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. These are the main concerns I can help you with: depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, women’s mental health concerns, and challenges related to relationships or family dynamics.
As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I integrate primary care and behavioral health to treat the whole person — not just symptoms.
My treatment plan begins with taking time to really understand your experiences, goals, and what feels most important to you. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that may include therapy, medication management when appropriate, and practical tools to support emotional balance and daily functioning. Care is collaborative and tailored to you. Practice Philosophy / ADHD Treatment I do not prescribe stimulant medications. My approach to ADHD focuses on non-stimulant treatment options, CBT, alternative therapeutic strategies, and behavioral interventions. I work collaboratively with each patient to understand their individual needs, identify triggers and learned behaviors, develop healthy coping skills, and build practical strategies to improve focus, organization, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. My goal is to work with each patient—not simply to treat symptoms with medication, but to teach skills that support long-term, sustainable improvement.
First session
During your first mental health session, we will take time to get to know you in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space. I will ask questions about your current concerns, emotional well-being, medical history, and goals for treatment so we can develop a personalized care plan together. You can expect a collaborative conversation where you feel heard and understood. By the end of the visit, we will discuss recommended next steps, which may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both — always tailored to your individual needs.

Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a practical, evidence-based approach to help patients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or life challenges, and we work on developing healthier coping strategies. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented, giving you tools that you can apply in everyday life. When appropriate, I integrate CBT with medication management to provide comprehensive, whole-person care tailored to your needs.
