Jade Mitchell
Life can be challenging, especially when you're balancing relationships, parenting, caregiving, work responsibilities, and the expectations you place on yourself. It's easy to find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. My goal is to provide a space where you can feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported while creating meaningful change. I work with individuals, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship difficulties, life transitions, caregiver stress, and family challenges. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical tools for managing emotions and stress, and strengthen the relationships that matter most.
In my nine years of experience, my specialties have included issues involving anxiety and stress management, anger management, ADHD, addictions, couple's counseling, parenting issues, and life transitions.
My approach combines evidence-based strategies with compassion, curiosity, and a belief that growth happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about both their struggles and strengths. Whether you're working through a difficult season, healing from past experiences, improving communication, or seeking greater balance in your life, I strive to help you build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more connected and fulfilling. Outside of my work, I most enjoy spending time getting outdoors with my family. Whether we're exploring nature, staying active, or simply enjoying time together, these experiences remind me of the importance of connection, balance, and being present in the moments that matter most. You don't have to navigate it all alone.
First session
During the first session, we will discuss what to expect in therapy, and address any questions/concerns that you may have about the therapy process. I will also ask questions about what life is like for you now, and any history that is relevant to the current issues that you hope to address. In the first session, we will close with one goal to begin working toward, and a discussion of how we will achieve this goal.
