I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, understanding the challenges that arise from navigating different perspectives and references. I help clients address a variety of issues, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, addiction, and codependency, supporting them in achieving lasting change and recovery. I work from a relational prespective, which focuses on how individuals relate to others and how these patterns affect their relationships. We will explore and understand how relational dynamics affect our personal, professional, couples or family interactions. Even though I am a trained couple's therapist, I am not providing that service online at this time. I can work with clients on their relationship issues one at a time.
Psychodynamic
I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore how early experiences, and past relationships influence their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By examining these old dynamics, we can identify recurring patterns that may be causing distress or conflict and then, we begin to change.
Narrative
I use narrative therapy to help clients reframe and rewrite the stories they tell about themselves. I work with clients to empowering them to see themselves as the authors of their own stories and let go of unhelpful or limiting narratives that no longer serve them.
