New to Grow
Hi, I'm Grace! If you're feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own, therapy can be a place to find support, understanding, and relief. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, intense emotions, or patterns of behavior that no longer serve you. Maybe you're feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply looking for a space where you can finally talk openly about what you're experiencing. Whatever brings you here, I'm glad you're taking this step. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. In our work together, you can expect a compassionate, judgment-free space where we'll explore what's contributing to your struggles, identify your strengths, and build practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges. I take a whole-person approach to therapy, recognizing that your experiences, relationships, environment, and personal history all play a role in your mental health. There is no one-size-fits-all approach, which is why I focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals. Whether you want to better manage difficult emotions, reduce distressing symptoms, improve relationships, or make changes in behaviors that are holding you back, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you. You are the expert on your life, but you don't have to do it alone. I would be honored to support you along the way.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I take a relaxed, conversational approach and will spend time learning about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and the experiences that have shaped you. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, accepted, and genuinely heard. By showing up authentically and meeting you where you are, I create a supportive space for growth. Using DBT-informed techniques, I help clients build skills to manage emotions, create meaningful change, and move toward the life they want.
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults (ages 12–25) experiencing emotional distress, life transitions, relational challenges, and difficulties with emotion regulation or maladaptive coping strategies. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients can feel understood while developing healthier coping and communication skills. I also collaborate with parents and caregivers when appropriate to support continuity of care and reinforce progress outside of sessions.
Other specialties
I identify as
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
My approach is to support clients in feeling understood and validated in their experiences while also exploring how current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors may be getting in the way of their goals. Together, we work on building practical skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier coping so clients can respond to challenges in more effective ways.
Strength-Based
I believe clients make the most progress in therapy when we also pay attention to what is already going well. I help clients identify their existing strengths, supports, and successes, and explore ways to build on them so they can feel more confident and capable in managing challenges and reaching their goals.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I recognize that each person brings a unique lived experience shaped by their culture, identity, and environment. I am committed to understanding your individual background and how it influences your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences, and to incorporating that understanding into our work together in a respectful and thoughtful way.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I take a trauma-informed CBT approach to help clients understand how past difficult or traumatic experiences may be impacting their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors today. We move at a pace that feels safe, focusing on building coping skills and gently working through experiences to support healing and emotional regulation.
