Therapy requires consistent motivation and commitment to change and growth. I am here to walk with you through the challenges you may be facing while gently holding you accountable to staying faithful to your commitment to growth. Therapy is not a one-size fits all. My approach to therapy is compassionate and reflective. I want to meet you where you are at and provide validation and empathy to the pain and stress you might be feeling. I am here to walk with you and collaborate with you to solve the issues you present.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

It can be challenging to find a therapist you connect with and I want to make sure that you feel that we are a good fit before we begin therapy. I offer a 15- minute complimentary consultation meeting in order to give us the opportunity to get to know each other and to answer any questions that you may have. Scheduled at your convenience prior to our first session. At our first session we will review your intake forms as well as my agreement for services. We will begin to address your reasons for engaging in therapy and identify goals and a plan to achieve your goals in therapy. Building a relationship of trust and care is my priority throughout the therapy process and I will provide empathy, care and encouragement throughout our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are rooted in my ability to provide an empathetic and safe space for you to work through problem areas. I believe that our relationship is key to your growth. I offer direct insight, but also a comforting presence as we work on developing skills to achieve your therapeutic goals. I believe honesty and trust to be fundamental elements in achieving your goal and I pride myself on offering consistent encouragement and strength-based feedback to affirm your genuine goodness and hard work.
