I specialize in helping women navigate the mental and emotional impact of perimenopause and menopause because it’s about a lot more than hot flashes. This chapter of life often brings heightened anxiety, mood swings, self-doubt, and relationship strain, all while society tells you to “just push through it.” I help women take back control by examining the impact of hormonal changes, internal pressures (like relentless, negative self-talk), and external stressors (like toxic relationships and unrealistic expectations). Together, we replace what’s no longer working with strategies that empower you to feel grounded, capable, and more like yourself again. I firmly believe that the way you speak to yourself shapes how you handle the pressures of midlife — and let’s be honest, women are often their own harshest critics. It’s time to rewrite that inner narrative.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and starting to build a comfortable, collaborative relationship. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been facing, and what areas of your life feel most stressful or stuck. We’ll talk about your goals — what you hope to change, improve, or better understand about yourself. Most importantly, we’ll work together to begin creating a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave this first meeting feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about what’s ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Through a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices, we’ll tackle: The stress that won’t quit Body changes that feel like a betrayal Relationship drama and boundary issues The unspoken grief and identity shifts no one talks about The relentless inner critic telling you you’re “too much” or “not enough” This is your permission slip to get honest about how midlife feels — and to build a life that actually fits who you are now.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Perimenopause and menopause aren’t just about hot flashes and night sweats. The hormonal shifts happening in your body can take a serious toll on your mental health too — increasing anxiety, depression, irritability, and leaving you questioning your self-worth and relationships. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just not like yourself, you’re not alone. This chapter of life can shake your confidence, strain your relationships, and leave you wondering where the old you went. But here’s the truth: she’s still in there. Therapy is a space for you to show up exactly as you are — exhausted, anxious, frustrated, or hopeful — and get support that actually makes sense for what you’re going through right now.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice and work closely with each of my clients on identifying their specific needs. I take the time to explore negative thought patterns that keep clients stuck and help them to analyze closely the impact of those thoughts on their day to day lives and any symptoms they may be experiencing which helps create awareness to make lasting changes.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is about teaching you to stop fighting your own brain, make room for the hard stuff, and still do what matters to you. It’s like mental jiu-jitsu with your thoughts you don’t have to like them, you just don’t let them run the show.
