Dr. Uche Ike
Hi, I’m Dr. Uche. I take a whole-person approach to mental health, combining therapy, counseling, and medication management to support your emotional and physical well-being. Every plan I create is tailored to you, and I’m committed to providing a safe, inclusive space where you feel heard and supported. I work with individuals and families ages five and up, and I’m currently pursuing my doctorate at Purdue Global University to continue bringing the latest research and best practices to my clients. I know that taking steps toward mental well-being can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to do it alone. I provide psychiatric services, therapy, and primary care to patients ages five and up, and I welcome families as well. I am also LGBTQ+ friendly and committed to making every client feel respected and understood.
Through collaborative care, supportive therapy, and medication management, I help clients gain the tools to improve their mental well-being and thrive.
First session
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where we focus on understanding your unique mental health needs. We will discuss your medical and mental health history, current concerns, symptoms, and any past treatments you’ve tried. I’ll ask about your daily life, stressors, and goals to get a full picture of how I can best support you. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, express any concerns, and share what you hope to gain from treatment. Together, we will create a personalized care plan, which may include therapy, medication management, or other supportive strategies. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin your mental health journey.
Strengths
My greatest strengths as a provider are compassion, evidence-based care, and strong therapeutic relationships. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. With experience treating various mental health conditions, I tailor treatment plans to each individual’s needs. Ideal clients
I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults (ages 5 and above) who are struggling with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, ADHD, autism, and insomnia. My approach is especially beneficial for individuals seeking compassionate, evidence-based care, including medication management and supportive therapy. I work well with clients who are ready to take steps toward improving their mental well-being, whether they are navigating life transitions, managing chronic conditions, or seeking a better understanding of their mental health.
