Hello! My name is LaTangra. I am a Licensed Mental Health Provider with Addiction, Family Medicine, and Psychiatric Nursing certification. I enjoy helping others meet their fullest potential and teaching others from any age group. I have worked in the mental health profession for over twenty years. I understand that depression, anxiety and other symptoms can stop individuals from meeting their goals without proper intervention. I can rave about my academic achievements, as there are many. I have spent a lifetime learning, and I learn every day and share what I have learned to help others. My biggest strengths are listening and empathy. One writer stated, "People do not know how much you know until they know how much that you care." I know, and "I care." I also provide Faith based counseling to those who would like to incorporate that into their treatment plan.
I have a history of working with women and men who have a history of loss, domestic violence, and trauma. My ideal client is anyone who needs help from someone with a background working with diverse populations across many different settings. I have taught domestic violence and parenting classes and have been trained to treat victims of trauma, depression, anxiety and more.
