Hello! I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois and have been practicing for the last 5 years. In therapy I will work alongside you to explore your experiences and help you identify the areas of your life that you would like to improve - ways to enhance communication, social skills, and relating to the world and self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and you will have the opportunity to ask me questions about our therapeutic process. We will then explore what has motivated you to begin this journey and the areas of your life that you would like to improve. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with a wide range of individuals I have come to learn and appreciate that everyone has a unique communication style and as a provider I find great value in learning that style to create a space of understanding and collaboration.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I integrate acceptance and commitment therapy into session to support individuals in adapting more flexible perspectives that challenge those negative thoughts and help build a more compassionate relationship with self and others.

Integrative

As a clinician I believe it is important to recognize that each individual has a unique perspective and different way of processing and communicating. Integrative therapy allows us to go on a journey together to identify your needs and goals and discover what will serve you best.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

It's easy to get caught in a loop of anxiety and poor self-talk. Utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques we can work together to break down those negative thinking patterns to improve your mood and how you relate to yourself and the world.
