About me

If you've spent years holding everything together for everyone else while quietly feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself, you're not alone. I work with high-functioning adults who appear successful on the outside but often feel stuck beneath the surface. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, unresolved life experiences, or feeling like they're constantly in survival mode. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and emotionally safe. Together, we'll work to understand the experiences and patterns shaping your present, strengthen your nervous system's ability to feel safe, and create meaningful, lasting change. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you no longer have to carry everything on your own.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to handling everything on your own. Our first session is simply a conversation where we'll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, what's been weighing on you, and what you hope will be different moving forward. There's no expectation that you share your entire life story or have the "right" words. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll begin identifying the patterns contributing to your current challenges, discuss your goals, and create a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful that meaningful change is possible.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I balance compassion with honesty. I create a space where you can feel genuinely supported while also helping you recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you. I won't simply sit back and nod, I actively collaborate with you, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge beliefs or behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and an understanding of the nervous system. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Polyvagal-informed therapy to help clients better understand themselves, not just their symptoms. My goal is to help you build practical tools, reconnect with yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create lasting healing that extends far beyond the therapy room.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who appear strong, capable, and successful on the outside but quietly feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or stuck on the inside. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, helpers, or parents who have spent years prioritizing everyone else's needs while losing touch with their own. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, unresolved life experiences, or difficulty feeling fully present in their daily lives. They're ready to better understand themselves, heal at the root, and create lasting change, not just temporary relief.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I believe there is often a reason behind the patterns that leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck. Rather than asking "What's wrong with you?" we'll explore "What happened to you?" together. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing can happen at a pace that feels comfortable while helping you better understand yourself with compassion instead of judgment.

EMDR

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process experiences that may still be affecting how you think, feel, or respond today. Rather than simply talking about difficult memories, EMDR helps reduce the emotional intensity connected to them so they no longer feel like they're controlling your present.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps us understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, challenge beliefs that no longer serve you, and build practical tools that help you respond to life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.

Polyvagal Therapy

Sometimes healing begins with helping your nervous system feel safe again. A Polyvagal-informed approach helps us understand how your body responds to stress and teaches practical ways to regulate your nervous system so you can feel calmer, more connected, and better able to respond to life's challenges.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is one of the most effective treatments for OCD and anxiety. Together, we'll gradually face fears in a supportive environment while learning new ways to respond without relying on behaviors that keep anxiety going.
