I love working with teens, young twenties, single thirties, and veterans. I have extensive experience with those that struggle with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and performance with athletes. I would be happy to work with clients that maybe be experiencing therapy for the first time and are not sure what it is like. I also prefer in-person if you are in West Michigan or online if you are in another area.
The first session will be a “get to know you” time where we will learn about the therapeutic relationship and offer insight into what you can expect from our time together. Perspective clients should expect to be greeted by a friendly, warm, and accepting therapist eager to engage with them about what is going on with them and what they think could help them in therapy.
I find great fulfillment in helping individuals grow and achieve success in their lives. I offer clarity, guidance, and support as you navigate the process of determining the path that aligns best with your goals and values.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from children as young as four to adults as senior as 79, navigating a variety of challenging circumstances. However, I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals in their late teens through early thirties—often young men—who are facing transitional periods in their lives. These individuals typically benefit from targeted guidance and support to help them overcome obstacles and get back on track toward achieving their goals.
CBT is a great framework to address a multitude of issues a client may be experiencing. Whether it be anxiety, depression, ADHD or many other diagnosis CBT can support growth in your life.
Worldviews are an important foundation for any prospective client. I would be happy to explore the fundamentals of your life throughout our session.
