Hi, I’m Rileigh Campbell, LPC. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on helping you build a healthier relationship with your thoughts and emotions while moving toward a life that feels meaningful and aligned with your values. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect things to feel pretty relaxed and conversational. There's no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready for. I’ll spend some time getting to know you, what brought you in, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which means we focus on changing how you relate to tough thoughts and feelings, not getting rid of them. The goal is to help you feel more grounded, more in control, and better able to handle what life throws at you. Coming from a community health background, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients across diverse identities, life experiences, and levels of access to resources. I’m always considering the full context of your life, including systemic factors, support systems, and real-life barriers.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adults who are navigating change, seeking greater clarity, or wanting to feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives. My ideal clients are those who are open to self-reflection and interested in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, even if they’re not sure where to start. I aim to create a supportive space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful to them.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in building psychological flexibility and fostering a more compassionate relationship with their thoughts and emotions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In therapy, I will also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them in a supportive way, and develop more balanced, realistic perspectives.

Motivational Interviewing

I also use Motivational Interviewing, a collaborative and non-judgmental approach that helps you explore your own reasons for change. Rather than telling you what to do, I’ll support you in identifying what matters most to you, working through any ambivalence, and building confidence in your ability to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

After 8 months of seeing a different therapist, I felt I wasn't gaining any practical insights or personal growth. Yet, I was afraid to start a relationship with a new therapist. My first meeting with Rileigh went incredibly well (despite some tears being shed!) and affirmed I made the right decision to seek out a new therapist. Right off the bat, I could tell Rileigh was an excellent fit. I am already looking forward to my next session with her!
