I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based care, with a focus on helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship and family challenges, boundaries, self-worth, life transitions, and the complicated process of becoming more fully yourself. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen and supported while also having practical tools to help you move toward the life and relationships you want. I don’t believe you need to be “fixed.” I believe you deserve a space to understand yourself with more compassion, reconnect with your strengths, and make choices that feel more aligned with who you are.

First session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping will be different, and the experiences or patterns that feel most important to you right now. I’ll also ask questions about your relationships, strengths, current supports, and what has helped (or hasn’t helped) in the past. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out, and you don’t need to tell your entire story all at once. Especially when trauma is part of someone’s history, I believe in moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable rather than pushing for details before there is trust and stability. By the end of our first session, I hope you have a sense that you have found a space where you can be honest, curious, and fully yourself. We’ll begin identifying goals for therapy together and may also identify an initial skill, perspective, or area to focus on between sessions. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we can go together.

Strengths

I bring warmth, curiosity, and a genuine ability to sit with people in difficult places without judgment. I’m especially attentive to the relationship between our experiences, our nervous systems, our relationships, and the stories we carry about ourselves. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to balance depth with practicality. We can explore where a pattern came from while also asking, “What can we do differently this week?” I draw from Narrative Therapy, attachment and family systems, DBT, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and nervous system regulation, integrating these tools based on the person in front of me rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. I also bring a strong belief in your capacity to know yourself. I’m not interested in being the expert on your life; I want to be a thoughtful partner who helps you notice patterns, access your strengths, build self-trust, and make choices that feel authentic. Most of all, I want clients to experience therapy as a place where they can be fully human. Messy, curious, uncertain, hopeful, and growing.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who is ready to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful change, even if they aren’t quite sure where to begin. They may be navigating anxiety, relationship or family challenges, trauma, boundaries, self-worth, life transitions, or a feeling that they’ve become disconnected from themselves. Many of the people I work well with are thoughtful, self-aware, and deeply caring toward others—but may struggle to offer themselves that same compassion. They might find themselves overthinking, people-pleasing, taking responsibility for other people’s emotions, questioning their needs, or repeating relationship patterns they don’t fully understand. You don’t have to arrive feeling confident or “ready” for therapy. What matters most is curiosity and a willingness to explore. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to move beyond simply coping and toward greater self-trust, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and a more authentic sense of who they are. If you’re looking for a therapist who will both gently challenge you and genuinely be in your corner, we may be a good fit.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help you notice the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and explore whether the ways you’re thinking are helping or holding you back. Together, we practice more balanced ways of responding to difficult situations.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I help you build practical skills for managing intense emotions, navigating conflict, and staying grounded during stressful moments. We focus on learning how to respond to what’s happening rather than feeling controlled by it.

Narrative

I help you explore the stories you’ve developed about yourself and how your experiences have shaped those beliefs. Together, we look for strengths, values, and alternative perspectives that make room for a fuller and more empowering understanding of who you are.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest, explore what you need, and move at a pace that feels right for you. I see you as the expert on your own life and work alongside you rather than telling you what you should do.

Somatic

I help you notice how stress and emotions show up in your body and learn ways to feel more grounded and connected to yourself. We may use breathing, movement, mindfulness, or other body-based practices to help you regulate and feel more at ease.
