I am a mental health professional specializing in both therapy and medication management, committed to helping clients navigate life’s complexities. I recognize that uncertainty often drives anxiety, leading to negative behavioral patterns that impact all areas of life, from personal to professional. By integrating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy with personalized medication management, I focus on addressing the root causes of challenges to guide clients toward balance, healing, and lasting growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story. We'll explore what brought you to therapy, discuss your challenges, and clarify your goals. I'll ask questions to better understand your background and what support you need from me. This session is focused on building trust, so I prioritize listening carefully, ensuring you feel heard without any pressure or judgment. We'll also talk about how therapy works and discuss whether medication management might be a helpful part of their treatment plan if that’s something they’re interested in. My goal for this initial meeting is to create a safe space where clients feel supported, allowing us to collaboratively develop a plan that aligns with their needs and helps them move toward the changes they are seeking.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my genuine compassion, which stems from my own personal journey. Having been through therapy myself, I have discovered parts of me that allow me to connect more deeply with my clients, offering them an even greater level of empathy and support. Experiencing firsthand the transformative power of feeling truly understood is why I am so dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel genuinely heard and valued. I believe that every human being needs love, connection, and a sense of belonging. The things that unite us are far more profound and significant than what makes us different. In my practice, I combine evidence-based therapy with thoughtful medication management to address both the emotional and biological aspects of mental health. My approach centers on empowering clients to uncover and break free from patterns that hold them back, with the ultimate goal of fostering deep, lasting change while honoring the shared human experience we all navigate together.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals facing anxiety, stress, and emotional challenges that impact their work, relationships, or self-esteem. If you are struggling with depression, procrastination, emotional eating, addiction, insomnia, or obsessive thinking, I offer a supportive approach that integrates therapy and medication management. My focus is on helping those who want to uncover the root causes of their struggles, enhance self-awareness, and create lasting positive change. Whether you are dealing with trauma, life transitions, or mental health conditions, I am committed to guiding you toward balance, resilience, and personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients explore the underlying issues that contribute to their struggles. I believe in a gradual, thoughtful process that uncovers emotional and behavioral obstacles, allowing individuals to better understand themselves and the patterns that hold them back from self-realization. My approach emphasizes a strong therapeutic relationship, where I provide a listening ear and a supportive environment for this exploration. Rather than focusing on diagnosis, I work with clients to identify and address negative behavioral patterns that may be limiting their growth. Through this process, we uncover the unmet needs behind these patterns and examine how these behaviors may have once served a purpose. Together, we can either work to change these behaviors or reassess the cognitive biases that influence them, ultimately helping the client move toward healthier, more adaptive ways of thinking and living.

Compassion Focused

In my practice, I use Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to help clients cultivate self-compassion and address the negative emotional patterns that often stem from self-criticism and shame. By beginning with an exploration of the inner critic, we would uncover how harsh self-judgments developed and how they influence emotional well-being. Through this understanding, I guide clients to develop a compassionate mindset, encouraging them to treat themselves with the same care and kindness they would offer a loved one. This process of self-acceptance helps clients reframe negative thoughts, shift emotional responses, and reduce self-criticism, fostering healthier emotional regulation. In CFT, I also use techniques such as compassionate imagery and mindfulness exercises to promote emotional healing and resilience. By helping clients visualize compassionate figures or environments, we create a safe space to process difficult emotions with kindness. This approach enables clients to move away from self-judgment and toward growth, self-empowerment, and healthier relationships. Ultimately, Compassion-Focused Therapy in my practice would provide clients with tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater emotional balance, self-acceptance, and compassion for both themselves and others.

Family Therapy

In my practice, I use Family Systems Therapy (FST) to help clients understand the dynamics within their family relationships and how these dynamics shape their lives. FST views the family as an interconnected system where each member’s behavior influences and is influenced by the others. By exploring the family structure, roles, and communication patterns, I help clients uncover dysfunctional dynamics, unmet needs, and unresolved conflicts. Learning about family systems allows clients to see how their family experiences impact how they show up in the world, affecting their relationships, emotional health, and behavior in all areas of life. Through Family Systems Therapy, I guide clients in understanding how family patterns influence their sense of self and their interactions with others. We work on improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, and fostering deeper emotional connections within the family unit. By addressing generational patterns and unresolved issues, clients gain valuable insight into how these dynamics have shaped their identity and behavior. Ultimately, this process helps clients develop healthier relationships, not only within their family but in every aspect of their lives, empowering them to create more fulfilling and balanced connections.
