Welcome! I'm Tatum. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship distress, family dynamics, work-life balance, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life. In our first session, we will initially spend time informing you about the therapeutic process and determining that the Client-Therapist match is best suitable to meet you and your treatment needs. I typically use the intake form as a guide to help me get a better understanding of who you are and your story. The most important is that you as the Client feel safe and comfortable to share and meet yourself wherever you are at in your healing journey.
My approach to therapy primarily combines components from client-centered, solution-focused, and psycho-educational. Each client is unique in their reasons for seeking services, and each client is unique in their healing journey as well. There is not a one-size-fits-all approach and a part of our work together is to understand what treatment methods are the most effective.

I spent a while looking for the right therapist before I found Tatum. She is always ready to meet me where I'm at - to listen when that's all I need, to empower me when I need some encouragement, to push back when my thoughts aren't serving me positively. Honestly, I feel like she embodies what it means, or at least what it should mean, to be a therapist. She's authentic, empathetic, and she leaves you feeling like you can take care of you. She's a great ally for anyone's mental health journey.

Having a character limit severely impacts my ability to say just how incredible Tatum is. I have never felt more seen, heard, validated and hopeful than I do when I meet with her. She is very authentic, has a very calming presence and never makes me feel stupid for what I feel. I wish everyone who tried therapy was able to experience someone like Tatum because more people would be able to truly understand the value of therapy.
