I have been a licensed therapist for about a decade. I have worked with in many sectors and have a wide range of experiences. I have worked with survivors and perpetrators of abuse. I also have done family and couples counseling. I am fluent in Spanish and multicultural. I love working with individuals of different backgrounds as I know therapy is not a "one size fits all". I like meeting my clients where they are at and focusing on their goals. My job is for you not to need me anymore.
First session, I will get to know your background to find out what makes you who you are now. I would want to know why you chose to seek therapy and what are your goals in therapy. I like to fully know my clients so I can make the best assessments and I want to know your family background and what you like to do for fun, also I want to know how you see the world.
I am very understanding and non-judgmental. I like to let conversations flow and let my clients talk about whatever feels comfortable for them. Therapy is all about you! I will at times push and challenge you to do better and try new things.
I like individual therapy with teenagers and adults. I work with individuals who have anxiety, depression, BPD, self-esteem issues and I love watching my clients grow into empowered individuals.
I enjoy working with individuals of different backgrounds and cultures. I like to also help my clients be the best version of themselves.
