I am licensed in Georgia with 25 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping adolescents and adults deal with stress and anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, & depression. My approach is to focus on the therapeutic relationship first to ensure that the client feels safe and secure in the sessions. Every person is different and requires different approaches. My approach involves exploring triggers, warning signs, self-expression, challenging negative thoughts, and identifying effective realistic coping skills.
I love working with adults that seek to make positive changes in their lives. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often are willing to replace habits with new, healthier coping mechanisms.
