Hi! My name is Allison Davis. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I have about 10 years if clinical experience. I specialize in working with people with depression, anxiety, chronic medical issues, aging, grief and loss. My goal is to partner with you to explore what you are experiencing and work together to find strategies for wellness. I am calm, kind, and non-judgemental. In our first session together, we'll do brief introductions and then talk about what you have been experiencing. We will talk about our goals for treatment (which I can assist with setting if you are unsure).
My greatest strengths are my curiosity and ability to explore in a non-judgemental way. As we dig deep into root causes of depression/anxiety/etc, we are able to understand ourselves better. This helps with healing and moving forward.
I love working with people who have depression and anxiety and working towards uncovering the root causes. I enjoy helping clients understand themselves better which empowers them to heal and grow. I have several years experience working with adults and older adults. I've worked in skilled nursing facility, hospital, and medical office settings. I enjoy offering support with those adjusting to aging or those who have aging parents.
