About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. I work collaboratively with clients navigating anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and everyday stress. My approach is practical, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Get to know me

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, empathy, and a down-to-earth approach to therapy. I believe in creating a space where clients feel heard and supported, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I meet clients where they are, focus on their strengths, and offer practical tools and strategies they can use beyond our sessions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents who may be struggling with behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, fitting in, or challenges at school or home. I also have a heart for seniors navigating aging, grief and loss, health changes, retirement, and other life transitions. Additionally, I enjoy supporting women and mothers adjusting to motherhood or coping with fertility concerns, pregnancy-related challenges, or pregnancy and postpartum loss. My ideal client is looking for a supportive space where they can feel understood, build practical coping skills, and confidently navigate the changes and challenges in their life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they affect emotions and choices, and practice healthier ways of responding. I also provide practical coping strategies clients can use outside of therapy to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and everyday challenges.

Faith based therapy

For clients who desire it, I can incorporate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process in a way that respects their personal beliefs and values. This may include exploring how faith influences coping, meaning, hope, relationships, or life decisions. Faith-based approaches are always guided by the client’s preferences and are never required.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe clients deserve a space where they can be themselves without fear of judgment. I meet each person where they are, listen to understand their unique experiences, and work collaboratively rather than assuming one approach fits everyone. Sessions focus on your individual needs, strengths, values, and goals while helping you feel supported and empowered to make meaningful changes.

Strength-Based

I help clients recognize the strengths, abilities, and resilience they already have, even during times when they may not see those qualities in themselves. Together, we build on what is already working while developing new skills to address current challenges. I want clients to leave therapy feeling more confident in their ability to cope, grow, and create meaningful change.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to help clients explore changes they may be considering without pressure or judgment. Together, we talk through what may be holding them back, what matters most to them, and what they want for themselves. I help clients identify their own reasons for change and take realistic steps toward goals that feel meaningful and achievable.
