I am a fully licensed Master Level Social Worker (LMSW). I obtained a Masters degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University and have over 25 years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I work to provide a safe, open environment where you are able to share your deepest concerns without fear of judgement. Together we will create goals that lead you to your personal path of well-being. I am here to support and empower you to live with greater love, hope, and peace for yourself and in your relationships with others. I look forward to walking with you on this journey.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, build rapport, and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a foundation for us to build upon our work in follow-up sessions.
I take great care in creating an environment that is comfortable and supports easy dialogue for facilitating your personal clarity and helping you develop healthy thinking and coping strategies that promote personal growth.
I utilize a variety of treatment methods based on the needs and goals of my client. The primary treatment methods utilized may include CBT, ACT, Faith-Based, Grief, Interpersonal, Psychoeducational, Relational, Person-Centered, Interpersonal, Strength -Based, and Supportive Therapy.
