As a LCSW I believe in empowering my clients and encouraging them to prioritize their mental health. You've taken the first step coming here! I specialize in parenting special needs children, women's issues, chronic illness, and stress management/anxiety and accepts ages 18 and over. Everyone is different when it comes to mental health counseling. I take my first cues from you and discover your goals and needs. We take those goals and manage them together.
I work with a variety of adult individual clients. My specialties include working with single mothers, parents of special needs, people who are struggling with chronic illness, caregiver support, women's issues and divorce, and stress, anxiety, and depression. I have been a therapist/LCSW for 2 years. I hold my LCSW in IL, IN, and MN. Prior to that I spent almost 7 years working as a medical social worker with people with chronic illness.
