My name is Liz. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 15 years. While my work has centered on a variety of settings and populations, my primary focus has always been empathy. I want to learn about who you are and what motivates you to seek out therapy. Through a collaborative relationship, we will work to establish your goals and move towards them while building a safe and trusting space.
Much of our first session will focus on getting to know you. Although this will be an ongoing process, the initial intake will allow me to learn key components about your background and as well as what you are seeking to accomplish.
My greatest strength is empathy. I work from a client centered approach. We start where you are and move at your pace.
Some of us enter therapy knowing exactly what it is we want to accomplish. For others, the desired outcome is not as clear. Both are okay! What is most important for me is that you are open and motivated. All else we can build on together.
I believe in the importance of catering the treatment modality to the individual. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy. The eclectic treatment method focuses on centering around and adapting to the needs of each individual person. We will work together to outline your goals and what methods will best fit to achieve them. This may include incorporating a variety of modalities such CBT, grief therapy and motivational interviewing.

Liz has been an exceptional sounding board for working through and processing the highs and lows of parenthood and entrepreneurship. She is thoughtful in her approach, and asks the right questions to bring thoughts and perspective to the surface. I would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone looking to work towards applicable solutions to life's problems.

Liz is amazing! She constantly challenges my negative cognitive distortion and gives me directly helpful advice including ways I can alter my thoughts, actions and beliefs each week and then we check back in on my progress. I am so so grateful to have Liz as my therapist. She is also very compassionate and nonjudgmental which means so so much.

I love and need Liz! She is the best therapist I've ever had. She really helps to get to the root of my problems and challenges me to be better, at the same time she is warm and comforting, non-judmental and open-minded. She takes notes and remembers what we talk about and has a goal for each appointment. She is also very flexible. It takes a dedicated individual to be able to balance their personal work along with the kind of work that Liz does for myself and others. I am amazed by her abilities and so very grateful to have her as my therapist.
