Hello! Welcome to Arukah Christian Counseling! I specialize in providing space for Christian women who are seeking a biblical approach to their mental health. I focus on the whole person and use a variety of evidence-based practices to help my clients explore the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and the physical, spiritual, and mental/emotional connection. I understand that every person is unique, and I always put the clients' needs first. My sessions are structured around the clients' specific goals and concerns, and I create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings.
In our first session together, we will start with introductions. I am available to answer any questions you may have about therapy, the process, or myself as a clinician; then, we can dive into the specific challenges that lead you to begin your therapeutic journey. A full Biopsychosocial Assessment is done, and lastly, we will discuss therapeutic goals and interventions.
I help clients live their best lives by filling the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. I have a unique ability to help people find themselves and find direction and connection in all aspects of their lives. God created us with the qualities we need to live out our purpose! I help my clients identify where growth is necessary while holding accountability, and clients will start the process towards reaching their highest goals, all while creating a healthy balance in life with biblical principles at the foundation.
