If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s that human connection is essential for healing from trauma, managing anxiety, and navigating life’s challenges. You might find yourself in a situation where you feel alone and like there’s no one reaching out their hand, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m here, and I’m ready to walk hand in hand with you throughout your healing journey. As a licensed therapist, I’m here to offer support, guidance, and a safe space where you can heal. Whether you’re struggling with stress, PTSD, depression, or relationship issues, you don’t have to face it alone.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I know how hard it can be to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you’re at your lowest, but I promise you—it’s there. Depression, anxiety, and emotional struggles rarely exist in isolation, and sometimes, it takes a helping hand to uncover what’s holding you back and how to move forward. These challenges can come in short-term bouts or persist over time, affecting your daily life, relationships, and sense of self. But you don’t have to face them alone. I provide a safe, compassionate space to help you: ✔️ Understand and process your emotions in a healthy way ✔️ Practice mindfulness and self-love to build emotional resilience ✔️ Develop coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and depression ✔️ Rediscover hope and inner strength to navigate life’s challenges You are not alone. Therapy can help you regain clarity, confidence, and a sense of peace.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Self-love is so, so important to me. Looking after yourself is a wonderful reward on its own. However, if you feel like you’re struggling to hold yourself afloat, I’ll be your cheerleader while you find your feet. Reaching out to others for help in your healing process is an essential act of self-care, as it allows you to work through your feelings in a safe and empowering environment. Changes in life phases can also signal a need for guidance. I understand how stressful it can be moving between difficult situations and feeling yourself and your circumstances change as you go. You might be afraid of newfound independence as a young adult or coming to terms with losing independence as you get older, or maybe your whole life is changing as a result of divorce. No matter what you’re going through, or however you’re feeling, you never have to be alone.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Depression, anxiety, trauma, and the changes that come with aging can take many forms. These challenges can lead to feelings of loneliness, helplessness, and emotional exhaustion. When you’re struggling with these emotions, it’s easy to feel lost, like you can’t see the forest for the trees. This is where therapy can help. I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your emotions, gain clarity, and rediscover your strength. Through our work together, we can: ✔️ Identify and address the root causes of your feelings ✔️ Develop coping strategies to manage stress and emotional overwhelm ✔️ Empower you to navigate life’s transitions with confidence ✔️ Help you reconnect with yourself and others You don’t have to go through this alone. Therapy can be a powerful tool for healing, growth, and self-discovery.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a type of therapy that helps people change negative thought patterns and behaviors. It focuses on how our thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. If we change the way we think about a situation, we can feel and act differently. For example, if someone thinks, "I always fail, so I shouldn't even try," CBT helps them recognize this negative thought, challenge it ("Is that really true?"), and replace it with a more balanced thought ("I might struggle, but I can improve with effort."). CBT is practical, goal-oriented, and often short-term. It’s used for anxiety, depression, stress, and many other issues.

Attachment-based

Attachment-Based Therapy is a type of therapy that focuses on how early relationships—especially with parents or caregivers—shape the way we connect with others as adults. It helps people heal from past relationship wounds and build healthier, more secure connections. For example, if someone had a childhood where they felt abandoned or emotionally neglected, they might struggle with trust or fear rejection in adult relationships. Attachment-Based Therapy helps them understand these patterns, process past emotions, and develop healthier ways to connect with others. It's often used for relationship struggles, trauma, anxiety, and depression. It emphasizes safety, trust, and emotional connection.

Compassion Focused

Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) is a therapeutic approach that aims to help those who struggle with shame and self-criticism, often resulting from early experiences of abuse or neglect. CFT teaches clients to cultivate the skills of self-compassion and other-oriented compassion, which are thought to help regulate mood and lead to feelings of safety, self-acceptance, and comfort. The technique is similar to mindfulness-based cognitive therapy in that it also instructs clients about the science behind the mind-body connection and how to practice mind and body awareness.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a structured program of psychotherapy with a strong educational component designed to provide skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships. Originally developed to curb the self-destructive impulses of chronic suicidal patients, it is also the treatment of choice for borderline personality disorder, emotion dysregulation, and a growing array of psychiatric conditions. It consists of group instruction and individual therapy sessions, both conducted weekly for six months to a year.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a comprehensive approach to therapy that integrates elements of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, experiential, and body-centered therapies to maximize treatment effects. EMDR psychotherapy uses a structured protocol for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related past experiences that trigger emotions, beliefs, sensations, that are no longer serving the health of the client.
