My mission is to support individuals on their journey to mental well-being, embracing the intrinsic beauty of the human mind with a gentle and holistic approach to care.
Through this deep understanding, we collaboratively establish treatment goals that genuinely resonate with your personal journey. Your well-being remains at the heart of everything we do. I’m here to support you with personalized pathways, thoughtfully considered to align with your unique needs, preferences, and experiences. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful progress, one step at a time.
First session
During our first session, we’ll take time to understand your symptoms, history, goals, and what’s been working—or not working—for you so far. I’ll ask questions about your mood, stressors, thought patterns, and daily functioning to get a full picture of how things are impacting you. Together, we’ll discuss treatment options, including medication when appropriate, and I’ll begin introducing CBT-informed strategies you can start using right away. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, informed, and clear about next steps.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths is integrating evidence-based medication management with CBT principles in a practical, accessible way. I focus on helping clients understand why they feel the way they do and how small, realistic changes in thinking and behavior can support symptom improvement. My approach is collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on building skills clients can continue using beyond our appointments. I aim to provide care that not only reduces symptoms, but also empowers clients to feel more confident and in control of their mental health.
Ideal clients
I’m best positioned to work with clients who are looking for thoughtful, collaborative medication management and want to better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect their mental health. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, mood concerns, or stress-related symptoms and are motivated to build practical skills alongside medication. I work especially well with individuals who appreciate education, insight, and learning tools they can apply in everyday life to support long-term stability and resilience.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a medication provider, I use CBT principles to help patients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact with their symptoms. In practice, that means we briefly explore patterns in thinking that may be worsening anxiety, depression, or stress, and I help patients challenge those patterns in a practical, realistic way. I often pair this with medication management by reinforcing coping skills, behavioral strategies, and homework patients can use between visits. The goal is to support symptom relief not only through medication, but also by strengthening skills that improve long-term functioning and resilience.
