New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and trauma-informed therapist passionate about helping individuals heal from emotional wounds, navigate life transitions, and reconnect with their sense of identity and purpose. My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor therapy to the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—using a blend of psychodynamic, trauma-informed, somatic, cognitive, and faith-based approaches. I specialize in supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, and self-worth struggles. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all, and my goal is to help clients move from survival to wholeness with clarity, compassion, and sustainable growth.
Our first session is a space for connection, clarity, and understanding. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll also gather background on your emotional history, relationships, and current stressors to better understand your story. This session is collaborative and judgment-free—there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. My goal is to help you feel safe, seen, and supported while creating a clear path for your healing journey.
My greatest strength is helping clients identify the root of their struggles—not just manage symptoms. I help connect the dots between past experiences and present patterns while providing practical tools for emotional regulation, healing, and growth. Clients often value my ability to blend clinical insight with compassion, directness, and faith-centered support when desired. My work focuses on helping people transform pain into purpose and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic therapy helps uncover how past experiences, attachment patterns, and unresolved emotional wounds shape present behaviors, relationships, and internal beliefs. My work in this approach focuses on increasing self-awareness, identifying recurring patterns, and helping clients understand the deeper roots of anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and relational challenges. I use psychodynamic exploration to support long-term emotional healing—not just symptom relief.
Trauma Informed Care
My trauma-informed approach prioritizes emotional safety, nervous system awareness, and understanding how trauma impacts the mind and body. I help clients process traumatic experiences, identify triggers, strengthen emotional regulation, and rebuild trust within themselves and their relationships. This framework informs all of my clinical work, especially with complex trauma, abandonment wounds, and PTSD-related symptoms.
Somatic
Somatic work helps clients understand how emotional pain and trauma are stored and expressed in the body. I incorporate body awareness, grounding, nervous system regulation, and mind-body connection practices to support healing beyond traditional talk therapy. This is especially effective for anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, and emotional dysregulation.
Faith based therapy
For clients who desire it, I integrate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process as a source of healing, identity, and resilience. My faith-based approach creates space to explore emotional struggles alongside spiritual questions, values, and purpose. I support clients in aligning their healing journey with their beliefs while maintaining sound clinical care.
Integrative
My integrative approach combines evidence-based practices with deeper insight-oriented work to meet each client’s unique needs. Rather than applying one treatment model to every person, I pull from psychodynamic, somatic, cognitive, trauma-informed, existential, and faith-based approaches to create personalized care that supports whole-person healing.
