I am a licensed mental health counselor with experience working in crisis centers, in home therapy, and outpatient therapy settings, and I am confident I can support you with the burden you have been carrying. I utilize evidence-based approaches to provide a personalized treatment plan that will cater to your unique needs. I believe in creating a safe and empathetic space where clients feel they can openly express themselves without fear of judgment or bias. My goal is to empower my clients to take control of their mental health and develop the necessary skills to overcome life’s challenges. During our first session together I will ask some questions to get to know you better and the reason you are coming to therapy. We will explore some of your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. You will have an opportunity to ask me some questions about the process as well. This first session will be a chance for us to start building a therapeutic relationship, and create a safe and trusting environment for future sessions.
I enjoy helping people overcome anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relational and communication issues, and all mood disorders. I have worked well helping people with personality disorders, and people experiencing dating and attachment issues as well. These are the areas that I have the most success with too. I use individual and couples counseling approaches as I hold a certificate in Marriage and Family therapy with my credentials. I have different experiences that let me help see your situation through many different lenses, giving me expertise on treating mental health symptoms at varying degrees as well.
