(she/her)
Hi, I’m Briana Jones, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of NextGen Integrative Psychiatry. I have been practicing for 8 years. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults to address ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and more through personalized, compassionate care. I offer virtual psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and integrative support to help young people thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive environment where they feel heard and understood. I take time to get to know the child or young adult and their family, gathering a detailed history of emotional, behavioral, social, and academic concerns. We’ll talk about what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what goals you hope to achieve. I may begin exploring diagnostic impressions and offer initial guidance or recommendations, including whether medication or further evaluations might be appropriate. It’s a collaborative, low-pressure conversation focused on building trust and creating a personalized plan for care.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to connect with young people and their families in a genuine and compassionate manner and to translate complex psychiatric concerns into clear and actionable treatment plans. I bring a strong clinical foundation, an integrative mindset, and a deep understanding of child and adolescent development. I’m also patient, thoughtful, and committed to partnering with families every step of the way—helping them feel supported, informed, and empowered in the mental health journey.
I’m best positioned to serve children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating challenges like ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood swings, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral concerns. Many of my clients are high-achieving but overwhelmed, struggling socially, or facing difficulties at home or in school. I also work closely with families seeking a thoughtful, integrative approach that combines evidence-based treatment with compassion, collaboration, and ongoing support.
Integrative
At NextGen Integrative Psychiatry, I have extensive experience utilizing this treatment method as part of a personalized, evidence-based approach to care. I incorporate it thoughtfully depending on each patient’s unique clinical presentation, developmental stage, and family dynamics. In practice, I often combine this method with other supportive strategies—such as medication management, lifestyle modifications, and therapy referrals—to ensure a comprehensive and effective treatment plan. Whether addressing ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, or complex neurodevelopmental concerns, my goal is to tailor interventions that promote long-term wellness and resilience for children, teens, and young adults.
