(she/her)
I’m a therapist who supports people navigating some of life’s most difficult and overwhelming experiences, including substance use, anxiety, and PTSD. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), with a strong focus on what is practical, supportive, and applicable to your day-to-day life—healing and growth.
In our first session together, we’ll focus on getting comfortable and making sure you feel heard in a safe, non-judgmental space. We will spend some time discussing what’s currently on your mind and what you hope to achieve through our work together. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask me any questions and see how my therapeutic style aligns with your needs. By the end of the hour, we’ll have a clear starting point and a shared plan for how to move forward toward your goals.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model, so I tailor our sessions to your specific story to help you gain actual insight into your patterns. We’ll work on developing the kind of coping skills that make a difference in your day-to-day life, not just in our sessions. My goal is to help you bridge the gap between where you are now and the emotional growth you're looking for, so you can see tangible improvements in how you function every day.
I am best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to navigate the complexities of substance use and trauma in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I work closely with those managing deep-seated emotional struggles as well as the day-to-day challenges of recovery and healing, providing a supportive environment to explore patterns, triggers, and behaviors. My approach is collaborative and practical, focusing on helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop the resilience needed to manage life’s most difficult transitions. Together, we will create sustainable strategies that honor your experiences while moving you steadily toward your personal and therapeutic goals.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. This method empowers them to develop healthier thinking patterns and coping strategies for lasting change.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and valued. This allows them to explore their feelings and goals at their own pace, fostering self-awareness and personal growth.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach supports clients in managing intense emotions and improving relationships in a structured, practical way.
