Michelle Lorenzo Marin
Hi, I’m Michelle! I’m a proud Latina and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) as well as a Qualified Supervisor here in Florida. For the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients as they work toward growth and healing. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me soaking up the sun at the beach (true to my Miami roots) or exploring new restaurants with my family.
First session
Your first session with me is a space to begin building a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. We’ll start by discussing your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal goals, and any concerns you’d like to address. I’ll also ask questions about your history and current experiences to gain a deeper understanding of who you are and what brings you here. This initial meeting is not about rushing into solutions but about creating a collaborative foundation—where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we’ll clarify your needs and begin developing a personalized plan for your journey toward growth and healing.
Strengths
My style is down-to-earth, warm, and collaborative. I’m here to listen, ask real questions, and help you learn practical tools to calm your mind and feel more in control. I use approaches like CBT, person-centered, mindfulness, and other techniques that are tailored to you.
Ideal clients
Life can feel overwhelming—juggling school, work, or big changes while quietly battling anxiety, burnout, or panic. On the outside, you're functioning. Inside, you're spiraling, overthinking, and tired of pretending you're fine. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. I help college students, young professionals, and adults manage anxiety, stress, and burnout tied to life transitions, work, or just trying to keep up. Together, we’ll make things feel more manageable.
