Hello! I am Briana Hall, a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. If you are new to medication, I will be here to guide your process. If you have tried medications in the past and had less than ideal results, I will help you navigate the diverse landscape of medication options. I want to provide safety in exploring medications that can improve your symptoms as quickly as possible. Medications can help manage your symptoms, improve your daily functionality, and aid you in actively participating in therapy or counseling. I believe the combination of medications and counseling yields the most improvement and best outcomes for most people. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to get started.
In the first session, I will be doing the listening! I want to know and understand your challenges and what areas you feel help is needed. As we get to know each other, your treatment plan will be tailored to your specific needs and desired outcomes.
Having worked with a variety of straightforward and complex clients over the past 8 years, I believe I am equipped to provide an understanding, empathetic ear to each person that I serve. We will set measurable goals and achieve them together!
If you are a resident of Georgia, I am not able to prescribe any scheduled medications. This includes Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Ambien, Lunesta, Valium, Vyvanse, Adderall, Concerta, etc. I work best with client's how are open to a variety of treatment modalities and are ready to start moving towards their goals. If your concern is making your symptoms more manageable and using medication to aid with that, then we will work well together. My goals is to help you reach your goals, whatever they are! Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution focused brief therapy is useful for all clients. It focuses on the client's current strengths and resources to move them forward. By focusing on the present and the preferred future instead of past, clients are make small changes that help them live better in the now.
