About me

I have over a decade of experience treating mood and anxiety disorders in adolescents, adults, and couples. I use a family systems and acceptance-based therapy approach and am warm and caring in sessions. I am passionate about working with clients to help them move toward wholeness as they see that in their lives..

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

After leaving a first session, I hope a new client feels hopeful, heard, and understood. When working with individuals, I ask a lot of questions to better understand what brings them to therapy, their background, and how they want to move forward. This is true with couples and families as well, but I make space to hear everyone's perspective and focus on shared aspects of their lives.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am passionate about bringing more joy and peace into the world as I value these qualities in my life. I will ask questions to help you process your thoughts and emotions, building a strong therapeutic relationship in order to be able to push back at times to help you grow. I am a caring person who will think well of you no matter what.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are insightful into their own experience. They want to move forward in life and are ready to find healing for the challenges they face. They are open with me and willing to face what contributes to their struggles. They can identify personal strengths and want support leveraging them for growth. In addition, they are willing to be honest with themselves and with me.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I frequently use aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in my practice. This approach views thoughts and emotions as acceptable, even when they are uncomfortable. What matters is identifying your values in life and making steps in those directions even while experiencing uncomfortable or unwanted thoughts and emotions.
